LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE THERAPYLymphatic Drainage Massage reduces swelling and improves the flow of regenerative fluid to promote the clearance of toxins and faster healing of damaged tissues. The therapist combines timing, pressure and direction to stimulate lymphatic circulation around the body. The fluid in the lymphatic system helps remove waste and toxins from bodily tissues. Harmful substances are removed from the tissues and neutralized in the lymph nodes, and the production of lymphocytes is stimulated, enhancing immune function. -Any type of Edema (swelling) or Lymphedema -Sports injuries (i.e. sprains and knee injuries) -Chronic Venous Insufficiency -Post-surgical therapy (mastectomies, arthroscopy, pre and post aesthetic surgery) -Soft tissue injuries and bruising -Inflammatory processes like tennis/golfers elbow and carpal tunnel syndrome -Sinusitis, hay fever, bronchitis -Edema during pregnancy

SPORT & ATHLETIC MASSAGESports Massage helps athletes prepare for an activity or workout, or to recover and rehabilitate from workouts and sport-related injuries. It also helps to maximize and improve athletic performances. The therapist uses a combination of manipulation of the body’s tendons, ligaments and muscles, and facilitated stretching methods to loosen muscles and increase flexibility. Sports Massage can be applied before the event, after the event, and as a maintaining treatment. Utilize Sports massage to: -Prepare muscles for a specific event -Loosen and gently stretch muscles -Increase flexibility -Prevent stiffening
-
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGEDeep Tissue Massage is used to manipulate the deeper muscle tissues and fascia layers. The therapist uses strong pressure and strokes in slow movement, mostly concentrated on the areas of pain and tension, to realign the deeper layers of muscle connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back.
-
MYOFASCIAL RELEASEMyofascial Release Massage loosens and breaks up myofascial (involving muscle and connective tissue) bindings and adhesions. The therapist stretches and loosens the fascia, which is a thin, tough, elastic type of connective tissue found between the layers of muscle fibers, between muscles, around organs and connected in a web throughout the entire body. This treatment is generally applied with little or no oil so the therapist can break down adhesions between tissues to soften and re-align them.
-
TRIGGER POINT MASSAGETrigger Point Massage releases trigger points, which are tight areas within muscle tissue that can cause pain in that area, as well as other areas of the body. The therapist applies cycles of isolated pressure and release to constricted areas in the muscle in order to soften and remove muscle knots. This decreases pain significantly.
